Why are probiotics important for an infant/child?

The journey to a healthy gut microbiome starts the day a baby is born. As soon as your child starts breathing, touching, crawling and eating, they’re bringing all sorts of good (and bad) microorganisms into their body. 70% of immune function resides in the gut, and because your child doesn’t yet have a diverse microbiome, their immune system will be at an increased risk to harmful bacteria. By implementing a probiotic routine, you can help them strengthen their immune system while improving overall digestion.

Both Jettie Baby and Jettie Kids will target immunity and gut health, but can also relieve constipation, colic, acid reflux and diarrhea. Probiotics have also shown to prevent eczema and allergies.
